Melaleuca alternifolia usages

One of my favorites! Recognized by its more common name “tea tree”, Melaleuca has been revered for its cleansing and regenerative properties, especially for the skin. Composed of more than ninety different compounds, Melaleuca has limitless therapeutic applications.

It is an ingredient of many soaps, creams, lotions, deodorants, disinfectants and air fresheners. It is one of the most powerful immune stimulant oils, and can be used to fight infections of all kinds. It is also helpful in clearing the skin.

Melaleuca alternifolia oil is an excellent choice for wound care and tissue healing, and has long been known as a potent anti-fungal agent. It has been documented to kill many bacteria, viruses and fungi on contact, so just as the aborigines knew, it is excellent for cuts, wounds and burns, and anywhere harmful bacteria might be found. I love melaleuca and all the things it does.

Some of the therapeutic properties of melaleuca include: analgesic, anti-bacterial, antibiotic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-viral and disinfectant.

I use this oil after a workout and shower. I put it on the bottom of my feet for a refreshed feeling all day. Good to know it has immune properties as well. I haven't been sick for over a year because of doTerra Melaleuca alternifolia and Onguard .  Rafael A, Vilagut Wellness Advocate
