How surnames were created throughout history and in different countries. Family trees are made to order.

Most populations now use hereditary surnames, although the date of their establishment varies greatly around the world, from almost 5000 years ago in China, to only 68 years ago in Turkey. There is also variation among regions within countries and among social classes. In Japan, for example, the governing classes took hereditary surnames from the 13th century but prohibited their use by other people until 186. Some societies still do without them and use, for example, names based.

The use of surnames in genetic studies dates back to 1875, when George Darwin, son of the more famous Charles, used them to estimate the frequency of first-cousin marriages. He calculated the expected proportion of marriages between people of the same surname, based simply on surname frequency, and then ascribed the observed excess above this figure to marriages between cousins sharing surnames.

Apart from this use of surnames to infer general aspects of the genetic structures of populations, a more direct connection can be made between surnames and genetics in societies that have patrilineal surnames: in principle, a patrilineal surname should correlate with a type of Y chromosome.

Custom family trees to honor our parents, and our loved ones who are no longer with us: grandparents, great-grandparents, and ancestors. Family trees can be used in healing therapies such as family constellations and bio-neuro-emotion. Many people use coats of arms or coats of arms and family trees to decorate their homes. When it comes to a marriage, it is customary to unite the shields or coats of arms of both families into one.

Family trees are made to order. Studies of the heraldry and genealogy of the families of more generations are also made. Interested parties please contact by email at rafaelvilagut@gmail.com or by phone +506 6110 8665 in Costa Rica.
