Francisco Vazques's nephew is Juan Antonio Vázquez de Coronado 1er Adelantado de Costa Rica, and 4º Alcalde Mayor de Nueva Cartago.

Gonzalo Rodríguez de Coronado's great great great great great grandson is Juan Antonio Vázquez de Coronado (1523-1565), 1er Adelantado de Costa Rica, and 4º Alcalde Mayor de Nueva Cartago.
 
When Francisco Vázquez de Coronado y Luján was born on 3 December 1510, in Salamanca, Castilla y León, Spain, his father, Juan Antonio Vázquez de Coronado y Sosa de Ulloa Adelantado, was 41 and his mother, Isabel De Luján y Luzón, was 41. He married Beatriz de Estrada y Flores Gutierrez de la Caballeria in 1536, in New Spain. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 22 September 1554, in Mexico City, New Spain, at the age of 43, and was buried in México, Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico, Mexico.

Francisco Vazques's nephew is Juan Antonio Vázquez de Coronado. Francisco Vázquez de Coronado led one of the most important expeditions in the American Southwest. In search of the cities of Cíbola, he set out on an expedition that, although it did not find any trace of the gold that had been secured from them, they came across other no less striking discoveries, such as the Grand Canyon of Colorado.

When Juan Antonio Vázquez de Coronado y Anaya "Señor de la Encomienda de Naolengo" 1er Adelantado de Costa Rica, 4º Alcalde Mayor de Nueva Cartago y Costa Rica, Adelantado Perpetuo de Costa Rica, Conquistador was born on 15 August 1523, in Salamanca, Castilla y León, Spain, his father, Gonzalo Vazquez de Coronado y Lujan, was 34 and his mother, Maria Catalina de Anaya y Varillas, was 26. He married Isabel Arias Dávila y Poblete in 1550, in Guatemala. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. He died in October 1565, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain, at the age of 42.

When Isabel Arias Dávila y Poblete was born in 1515, in Ciudad Real, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, her father, Conquistador Capitan Gaspar Arias Dávila Gonzalez de la Hoz y Furtado Mendoza, was 46 and her mother, Juana de Poblete, was 45. She married Juan Antonio Vázquez de Coronado y Anaya "Señor de la Encomienda de Naolengo" 1er Adelantado de Costa Rica, 4º Alcalde Mayor de Nueva Cartago y Costa Rica, Adelantado Perpetuo de Costa Rica, Conquistador in 1550, in Guatemala. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. She died in 1569, in Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala, at the age of 54.

Isabel Arias Dávila y Poblete's (1515-1569) father's uncle is Pedro Arias Dávila. Isabel Arias Dávila (1430-1474) brother is Pedro Arias Dávila.  S
